This site is home to fan fiction by the author currently known as Evelyn Benton. Evelyn has been posting fan fiction online since 1997. Under her previous pen name, Evelyn won six awards for her fan fiction and three awards for her fan fiction website. Because of a lack of inspiration (to write Janeway/Chakotay fic), time constraints, and a crisis of confidence, Evelyn retired from writing fan fiction in 2000. From that point on, Evelyn only dabbled with writing fan fiction. Until now, none of those works were posted online—despite the unwavering support of her friends and readers.

In 2001, Evelyn was inspired by the television series Dark Angel. Disappointed in the second season's series-altering premise, Evelyn began writing a Dark Angel fan fiction novel. She wrote it at her own pace and without the pressure to impress anyone. After numerous setbacks, Evelyn finally completed the fan fiction novel in early 2003.

To date, Evelyn has written over one hundred stories in more than fifteen different fandoms. Her longest work is a 110,987 word Dark Angel fan fiction novel and her shortest work is a 10 word Tomb Raider haiku.

Although Evelyn looks back at her Dark Angel novel with creative disappointment, she is proud of her accomplishment because it represents the rebirth of her creative spirit. With new inspiration and a slightly more accommodating schedule, Evelyn has decided to return to what she loves: writing fan fiction.
